Aimee Byman has spent the majority of her life in Virginia and considers herself a Virginian at heart. Born in South Korea and being in a military family provided opportunities to live outside of the U.S. and fostered her love of different cultures, and traveling. Aimee received her bachelors in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Old Dominion University, and then went on to attend Eastern Virginia Medical School where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant degree in 2003.
Aimee has worked in the fields of family medicine, emergency medicine, and both pediatric and adult dermatology. Additionally, she is certified by the National Institute of Learning Development as an Educational Therapist, the Feuerstein Institute as a Feuerstein Cognitive Practitioner. She has worked as a private tutor for students with learning challenges and special needs while homeschooling her children.
Aimee’s passion for knowledge is apparent through her commitment to provide every patient with quality and compassionate care. Her focus is to provide education and resources to her patients on skin conditions, skin care, sun protection and a healthy lifestyle.
In her spare time, Aimee enjoys spending time with her husband, three children and friends. You can often find her cooking, learning about other cultures, reading, gardening outside and educating others about keeping bees.
